I've got a couple of multi-ladders, one being the werner little giant knockoff. They're great for my remodeling business because of their versatility. Because of those ladders, I discovered the advantage of twin ladder design. Primarily, I don't know how many times I've had 2 guys trying to climb the same ladder and bending up the braces on the non-step side. The main disadvantage of the multi-ladder designs is that the tread is not comfortable. After an hour or so on the rungs, my feet are killing me. Also, they're heavy. For these reasons, I opted for another fiberglass ladder.I weigh 220, so I was really torn over whether to order the 250 lb type or a heavier version. I've had a cheap aluminum stepladder collapse on me, so I take the issue seriously. The price difference was substantial, so I took a chance on the 250 lb version and I'm glad I did.
